The PTSD UK Academy is the educational arm of PTSD UK, the only UK charity dedicated solely to raising awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Complex PTSD, no matter the trauma that caused it. Built on years of lived experience, evidence-based insight, and trusted expertise, the Academy is designed to empower professionals with the knowledge and tools they need to support people affected by trauma.
Offering a range of engaging, accessible training options—both in-person and online—the Academy delivers high-quality, trauma-informed education tailored to a wide variety of sectors, including healthcare, education, emergency services, workplaces, and more.
What makes the PTSD UK Academy different is its foundation in real-world understanding, shaped by tens of thousands of interactions with people living with PTSD and C-PTSD. Our training is informed not only by the latest research and clinical frameworks, but also by the voices and needs of those with lived experience.
Whether through one-off presentations, comprehensive workshops, or bespoke packages, our goal is to help professionals feel confident in recognising the signs and symptoms of PTSD and C-PTSD, responding appropriately, and creating trauma-informed environments where people feel safe, seen, and supported.
As the leading UK charity in this space, PTSD UK is uniquely positioned to deliver training that is evidence-based, emotionally intelligent, and deeply impactful. The PTSD UK Academy isn’t just about learning—it’s about changing lives through understanding.
