PTSD UK Native Wildflower Seedbox

£4.00

To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.

Did you know there are psychological benefits to exposing yourself to flowers on a regular basis?

Exposure to plants and flowers can reduce levels of chronic stress, fear, anger and sadness, lower levels of anxiety, reduce blood pressure, pulse rate and muscle tension and affect change in the parasympathetic nervous system: all great news for people with PTSD!

That’s why we created these PTSD UK Native Wildflower Seedballs.

Native wildflowers are naturally slow to germinate, and so loosely scattered seeds can often be eaten by ants, birds and mice, BUT our clever Seedball solves this problem by encasing the seed in a protective ball of clay, compost and chilli.

This cute seedbox is a perfect gift – whether for yourself or friends and family!

Seed balls are also incredibly easy to use – simply scatter on top of soil or compost (no digging required!) and nature will do the rest!

Please note: Each seed box contains 6 seedballs

All these seeds are native species that grow in the UK. The seeds themselves are also produced in the UK.
The PTSD UK seedballs contain Sky Meadow mix, which contains the below wildflowers:
  • Forget-me-not (Mystis arvensis): native to the UK (see info in the Online Atlas of British and Irish Flora; link here)
  • Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus): native to the UK (see info in the Online Atlas of British and Irish Floralink here)
  • Meadow cranesbill (Geranium pratense): native to the UK (see info in the Online Atlas of British and Irish Flora; link here)
