Join us for a PTSD UK Firewalk fundraiser!

We’re looking to begin planning our first official fundraiser for later in 2015/early 2016 which will be a Firewalk in Scotland!

Firewalking can change lives, and your motivation for taking part in the PTSD UK Firewalk may be to help us raise funds, support a loved one or show fear who’s boss. Many people who have completed a firewalk say they felt:

  • Reduced fear, less self doubt and ending of self sabotage
  • More focused, personal power, control in all areas of life
  • A breaking through of limits and boundaries to personal growth
  • An new ability to take massive action in their life, an increase in enthusiasm and motivation, because the fears that held them bound are no longer there

A Firewalk ceremony is a symbolic rite of passage into a new way of being.  Just as wildfires in nature burn away the dead and lifeless debris of the land and fertilise it with ash, leaving space for sunlight and rain to reach the seeds of new growth, so the firewalk allows us to release energetic and emotional burdens to the Fire, and make way for new beginnings.

Participants will have the uplifting experience of making a physical commitment to their chosen path forward – clarifying their vision for the future, and gathering all their courage, passion and focus into taking that first step towards it, knowing that – as in life – there are risks involved and fears to be faced.

In the moment of choosing to walk on fire, we give ourselves an opportunity to affirm our trust in our own power and magic, to demonstrate our ability to use our fear for transformation, and to rekindle our passion for our visions of what could be.

If you’re interested in more information and taking part, please complete the sign up to our PTSD UK updates in the footer of any page and we’ll be in touch when more details are available!
