Media Enquiries

We’d be more than happy to help assist with your media enquiries relating to PTSD and C-PTSD.

Our aim is to help spread awareness of PTSD (what it is, it’s causes, the symptoms and the treatments available) throughout the UK and so welcome any approaches from media outlets who require input from us.

We can provide comment on news, interviews (via email, phone or in person) and any information about PTSD, or PTSD UK, that you require to create a robust an accurate article or other piece of content.

We also regularly advise on scripts for film and television – this is especially important to ensure an accurate, real-life and non-sterotypical portrayal of PTSD in the media, so welcome any contact about this.

Please fill in the form below and someone will be in touch as soon as possible if we can assist:

    Treatments for PTSD

It is possible for PTSD to be successfully treated many years after the traumatic event occurred, which means it is never too late to seek help. For some, the first step may be watchful waiting, then exploring therapeutic options such as individual or group therapy – but the main treatment options in the UK are psychological treatments such as Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprogramming (EMDR) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Traumatic events can be very difficult to come to terms with, but confronting and understanding your feelings and seeking professional help is often the only way of effectively treating PTSD. You can find out more in the links below, or here.
